Stopping To Listen is a panorama of urban life as seen through the eyes of Bobby, a people-watcher, freshly deposited at the Port Authority from Iowa.  After scanning the classifieds and deciding to pursue a temporary future as a doorman, Bobby takes on the Big City, taking in its many moods through the paper thin walls of his apartment, the local diner, glossy chain bookstores, and the like.  The play features ten actors that play multiple roles, bringing to bear the charm, chutzpah, class and grit of New York City.
