Set in Greenwich Village, Masquerade tells the story of a gay couple in their forties who throw a surprise positive party for a younger man who has just been diagnosed with HIV. When their downstairs neighbor who is quite ill with AIDS knocks on the door, an unplanned reckoning becomes inevitable. With wit and poignancy, Masquerade is a timely and compelling story whose message is one of endurance, self-acceptance and enlightenment.
*A portion of proceeds from the show, as with every Ten Grand production will be donated to organizations that enhance the quality of life for New Yorkers and abroad. Proceeds from this production will join Broadway Cares Equity Fights and others in their efforts to win the battle against the disease.
Proceeds from Masquerade will be given to various charities to join in the fight against AIDS.
